Karen Millen Chief Creative Officer Gemma Metheringham studied knitwear design at university before starting her career at Marks & Spencer and Next, where she was head of womenswear design. Gemma joined Karen Millen as design director in 1999 when it was still a small company, and has helped it grow into an international brand, with nearly 400 stores across the globe.
